It builds a personal model of how fast you forget each topic and computes a unique review schedule for every card from your own stability, difficulty and retrievability. Pro users get FSRS at a calibrated 85% retention target. Elite users can set a target between 80% and 98% and sync the whole schedule to a fixed exam date.
